The Trills are a Baltimore based a cappella group founded in 2015 at Towson University. The group is composed of six unique vocalists: Kathryn Marie, Missy Melkonian, William Damanka Jr, Nick Zuelsdorf, Leroy Hyson II, and Aaron Bayne.

When most of the group graduated in 2019, The Trills left Towson University and decided to pursue music professionally. The Trills have since gained global attention, largely thanks to their viral TikTok videos which feature songs like “Wellerman,” “Electric Love,” “Overwhelmed,” “From Now On,” “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” and more. The Trills have amassed over 3.8 million social media followers, 16 million YouTube views, and over 450,000 streams on Spotify.

Through their thriving social media presence, The Trills have collaborated with several well-known acts including Drew Scott, Bryce Xavier, Jon Cozart, Quinn XCII and Tim McGraw, and were selected to perform a headlining set at VidCon 2022. 

​

Over the last few years, The Trills have had many noteworthy performances including opening for Straight No Chaser, Voiceplay, and singing the National Anthem and Halftime at a Baltimore Ravens NFL game.

Missy is a current Senior at Towson University. In addition to being a full-time student, Missy acts as The Trills' brand liaison and Patreon manager.
